Enough is enough!!!!!

Feels the need to write 'run hard' on his hand

and then does nothing of the sort!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again Cousins shows exactly how over-rated Deledio is!!!!!!!!

You have got to be kidding yourself mate. great game by Lids today. Plenty of players use visual reminders to focus. Shows he he working hard to continue to improve. We still haven't seen his best but his good is very good.

We're not happy with 29 touches and 2 goals while keeping Judd's impact to a minimum? Not to mention the second most contested possessions on the ground and 6 clearances.

Don't forget his 6 clearances and 7 inside 50s!

your dead right enough is enough, posters like u ive had enough with cause u have no idea, ill tell u how it went down today, listen and learn..

Lids starts on gibbs and has the better of him, jackson goes to judd gets towled up, judd has like 11 touches in the 1st qtr and heaps of clearances, 2nd qtr jackson continues on judd, judd now up to 15 touches, rawlings makes a change (half way through the 2nd qtr), puts lids on judd they go head to head for 2 and a half qtrs, lids keeps judd to 14 possessions and lids himself has 17, both had 29 possies for the match but deledio with 2 goals and 108 super coach points V judd no goals and 95 super coach points...

Sir if u gonna post think about it, ur credibilty is shot to pieces when u post rubbish like that, look who plays on who and what they do, lids beat judd when he went on him and beat gibbs for the one qtr they were on each other, rememeber Judd had 15 possies before lids went on him, judd he pantsed Jackson for 1.5 qrts....

agree today, but I can't help but feel how much more damaging and valuable he could have been if not on Judd, however someone needed to go to judd in the 2nd half.

How did Ben show Lids is over-rated Sir. Did they play similar roles? Who was Ben's opponent?

i said the same he was flying but u know what U2 im glad jade put Lids on Judd, give him the challenge to go head to head with the master and full credit for lids to go with him and beat him, u cant ask for more than that, lids disposed of gibbs for the first 1 and a half qtrs had like a dozen dispoals on him...

Even last week lids with 31 touches had a very good game along with Bling who was bloody terrific but people still like to pic at this and that.

What excuses this week?????????

No TW

No broken hand

Nothing but brief sparks

Everyone keeps screaming to TANK - to lose games so we can get a priority pick!!!!!!

What - so we can get another 15 ineefective possessions per week - with the occasional 25 - albeit always in a losing team!!!!!

Never before have we fallen for such hype.

Ben Cousins is more valuable every week!

I will not bat an eyelid if we trade Deledio.

If we sign him on a big contract - I for one will not renew my membership!

He doesn't deserve my hard earned money!

Good.

Rubbish thread.

I totally agree. What's the point in wasting your time pasting our players on an internet forum? Just enjoy what this players have to give, and focus on the positives. Look at Tambling's efforts today - ok he didn't rack up as many touches, but he tackled like a mad man, and look at the couple of goals that Lids did kick - all class and polish. The guys are so young, and I think everyone of them put their best in today. Just as they did last week.

I'm not sure if it's Rawlings or not, but they seem to be playing for the jumper. Ok they've been beaten, but they haven't been disgraced against 2 top 8 sides. Hopefully it's a common theme going forward - watching Richmond teams that don't give up, even when they are down by 25 points with just under 10 minutes.

Come on Richmond supporters - a bit of positivity and support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deledio ran both ways today, great move by Rawlings to put him head to head with Judd. Ran both ways, almost his best game for the year. Judd was on a rampage in the first half and was paying Jackson no repsect going the other way. It changed in the second half. Attacking players have had the most success on Judd all year so it made sense to go with Lids.

And Cousins, boy what a work rate. Second, third, fourth efforts. Outstanding. If the young players cannot learn from that they are a lost cause. Amazing effort. Should play another 4 years body allowing.

there are some real backward people on here and it aint about having an opinion its about seeing what the player has done, thejinx, sir and thepercies fair dinkum u guys have no idea, to say his possessions are soft is quite laughable, macmahon has soft possies....Sir u have no credibilty to say that lids has 15 ineffective possessions per week, i mean no one and i mean no one would be that stupis to say that, he is perhaps our most skilful and his skills are elite...

U2tigers who ive had goes at inregards to lids at times saw lids game for what it was, a bloody good game.... :clap

whats funny is and i cant remember 100% which poster said it was that they said he was a down hill skier what a crack up, lids has been in the best or best or near best in more losing games than winning games so how anyone can say he is a down hill skier clearly doesnt understand the term.

With this being the last uncompromised draft and a couple of very decent kids on offer if we finish very low with less than 4 wins, don't expect to see too many more wins this year.

BTW .... really, really good game by Lids today.

Re: Cousins shows how over-rated Deledio is!

Its hardly worth biting is it.

I have been critical of Lids at times as he can be a bit lazy and he got caught out a couple of times today, but that may just have been because he was spent from running hard both way.

Has anyone actually thought that this was part of the learning curve for Lids to go head to head with the elite and give him a chance to learn. Well he appears that the challenge might have been just what he needed.

Anyone who was critical of his game today really should watch a replay of the game then comment.

This is a first for me however I will stick up for Lids today.

IMO he was by far our best and most damaging player in the first half today.

What the hell was he put on Judd in the 2nd half - that killed his game.
I'm all for giving Lids tasks against dangerous mids - but why in the 2nd half today when he was our best player -

The positional change makes me think we are definately tanking big time - or it was a very very bad coaching move.

If he didn't go onto Judd he could have been our best today.

also - I do love Cousins gut running.
oh dear sillier post than most of what that jb03 puts out. ask yourself how much damage was judd causing up to half time and how influential was he in the second half.
deledio not only quitened him down a bit he hurt him going the other way thus making judd more accountable.

actually my cousin said that, lids hurt judd going the other way and judd not being accountable for his man...so a big tick for lids!

maybe - agree someone had to go to Judd, however -

I still reckon Deledio was being a very big problem for the Blues in the first place - I reckon Carlton would have been forced to make a change on Lids also.

maybe I over reascted, however Lids could have caused more problems if left off Judd.

and claw in reference to the silly post - thats funny coming from your posting history.

Re: Cousins shows how over-rated Deledio is!

There were many occassions when Deledio was near the action, but jogging meant that he didn't become part of the action and neither did he account for a Carlton player. So the ball was won by a Carlton player eventually and was then moved down the foeld. Deledio may as well not have been there. I reckon if he'd put in a bit of a run, allowing him to get right in there, more of the ball would have been won. I love his skill when he gets the ball, but defensively, he still has an awful lot to learn. So please don't bag me, it's simply my observation on what I saw first hand today, and I ain't a darksider either.

Interesting to hear Buckley saying he's getting by on pure ability at the moment. Clearly doesn't think he works hard enough.

THEN GO AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, BUCKS...!!!

Re: Cousins shows how over-rated Deledio is!

Today was an important day in Lid's development IMO.

He has never before shown the desire to play on a bloke like Judd. Today he will have shown not only himself but also the coaching staff that he can go head to head with the very best.

From now on if Lids is getting the heavy tag he can be moved onto the opposition's best player. His ability to nullify Judd at the stoppages was first rate and showed a real desire to get the job done.

The true A graders can beat the very best.

Re: Cousins shows how over-rated Deledio is!

Just posted on the Deledio thread about Buckley saying he thought Deledio was getting by purely on ability at the moment. Clearly thinks he doesn't work hard enough. I think there's a growing perception in the media that Lids doesn't extend himself as much as he should or work to get out of his comfort zone. I reckon Tambling's learnt how to do it. I tend to agree about Lids.
