Please enough excuses for Deledio its time to turn the heat up on this individual. His season has been pathetic.

His workrate tonight was appalling. Too put it simply he is a downhill skier. If he wants out then show him the door. I am sick of watching these so called stars parade around in a Richmond jumper.

Some advice for you Deledio, forget about pulling out the mirror during the week to see if your hair is in place. Instead how about you watch footage of Daniel Jackson to see what guts and determination is. He got battered by the St. Kilda players tonight but he kept on coming at them. You have more skill in your little finger than Jackson but it counts for nothing if you are mentally weak individual.

Pull your finger out. If you are not up to the challenge then look at going to another club next year becasue us supporters have had a gutful.

do u go to the *smile*en games, i agree that his last 2 games have not been dominant was ok against WC but serious get ur finger out of ur ass, tonight our whole midfield got walloped, tuck and jackson sure they get the ball what the *smile* do they then do with it...i witness it first hand every week the butchering.

I saw foley run the lines several times and that was good but i tell ya pretty much each and every time he turned it over, lids and foley both got 84 DT scores and foley had 30 possies 9 more than lids) but foley turned it over continually, but u wouldnt know that wouldnt you.

do u know the term downhill skier, a player only plays welll when the team is winning, Umm so he beat ling and was in our best in RD 2 V the cats with 30 possies and we lost, beat sherman and power at the G V the lions with 30 possis but we lost, had a very good game V the swans but we lost, beat kane kornes V the power at AAMI but we lost, was pretty much BOG when we beat north and freo, i mean do u see the nonsense in how u try and articulate urself...learn what the term is then post it.

So theres about 6 games just there where he's been in our best and most times we lost..

and another thing for ur information he wants to stay at richmond "out of his own mouth" so where do u get off saying if he wants out show him the door...if u wanna have a crack at someone u better be well prepared for a comeback, where were u when he was best or near best in some of those games mentioned above didnt hear boo from you, perhaps u were the one looking in the mirror and missed it all...

Astute - although your defence of Lids is commendable. But

for christsakes why isn't anyone allowed an opinion of him other then the one you have.

differences of opinions are everywhere on PRE, why don't you want it on this thread.

lookinh at himself in the mirror what is he in his bedroom or bathroom, give me a break u want to talk footy fair enough u want to talk rubbish expect me to be replying and setting any wrongs right, now was that so hard to understand U2....read my post carefully and ul see what i actually mean, almost reiterating myself in this post.

Sorry to offend you Astute Tiger. Didnt know you felt so strongly about Deledio. But if you think that for a guy with that much talent who has been in the system for 5 years is performing to a acceptable level then you as a supporter has very low expectations.

Agree with astute. Didn't see the game last night, but at times this year when BD has copped it I've genuinely felt like I've been watching a different game. I reckon this year will be the making of him. For the most part he has stood up and led this year. Has had a couple of quiet games, poor by his standards but not shockers. He's still young and regular floggings do get to you, he ain't superhuman, yet.

As I've said a lot, the criticism of him in bad times is exactly like that that Hodge copped for a few seasons up to a couple of years ago. I reckon it actually reflects a messiah mentality rather than rational analysis. But I can understand that.

Deledio has not lived up to expectations, cannot shake off a tag, and very rarely damages opposition on the scoreboard.

It wouldn't surprise me if he finds another home next year.

He always looks sad. ;D

what a dill wallace is, brereton said we cant afford to keep him out of the midfield due to his ball use and wallace tries to counter that by saying i see him more as a lead up fwd, what the *smile*? u played him, HB, FF, wing and every other position you *smile*en peanut...

Anthony hutchinson then says "interesting" like, is that so terry, i agree with brereton in other words, then finishes off by saying he is now in the midfield.

ur a *smile*en bottom wipe wallet

Quality spray :hihi

Our most talented player.Sure to be our next long term captain. After C N 3yrs.

Ha ha he he

Said it before - I'll say it again.

"Most over-rated player in the Tiger jumper"

Talent and skill to burn - heart the size of a pea.

I will not bat an eyelid if the Tigers were to consider trading him.

Remove all the RFC marketing hype, and the reality is this player has never performed to his potential. I doubt that he ever will.

And yet we agree again Sir - maybe others will start waking up very soon.

Deledio is quality any way you look at it and to punt him would be madness. He's demonstrated on many occassions that he also has some ticker.

But he's not superman, he can't lift an ordinary, inexperienced side on his own.

He is lacking confidence though - as is Cotch and Jack.

Maybe it's all getting a bit much for them but whatever, none of these players are our real problem!

I hear he wants to leave the Tigers....

Deledio may have been a Number 1 draft selection, but his performances to date have been too inconsistent to say the least.

Me I'd drop him to Coburg for a stint there a couple of weeks at least. It could be that his development as a player was hindered by TW and the ineffective gameplan he had plus of course playing players out of position to boot.

He got killed against St Kilda but then so too did the rest of the midfield.

Of course I just wonder how much of an impact Wayne Campbell has had on Deledio and the other midfielders this season, given that last season Brian Royal coached them and they seemed to work far more efficiently under his coaching than that of Campbell's.

If Campbell wants the Senior Coaching role, then the Board I'd suggest would want to look hard and long at his midfield coaching season to date, because IMHO its been woeful.

If he wants to leave cause he thinks we are no good,he should concentrate on his own form, pull his finger out & help rebuild this club
