Poor kids.
It’s time for him to come home and join the club in some capacity.

Sadly I don’t think Lids like to kick around with the hacks on our list. Geelong like to trade for 34 year olds so maybe in a couple of years he could still end up there?

I take no pleasure in this. He was my kids favourite player, the number on their backs. I was sad when he left but have no doubt we have a premiership as a result of his leaving.

Was nigh on finished at the RFC achilles and calves GWS were stupid to trade for him but it was a good end result for the RFC.

Achilles and Calves dont get better when ya hit the magical 30 +, they just become chronic.

Sad for him, but not unexpected.

It’s a no win situation for poor lids, GWS needed to win it last year for him to taste success, this year they have been riddled with injuries and if they manage to win the GF next year it will be one year to late in imo.

If he decides to go around again chances are high he isn’t in there best 22, ontop of that the body is shot and highly likely to breakdown again.

I think he will hang up the boots with a few rounds to go.

Hope the club try and get him back to Richmond in some capacity, but he may not want to come back (painful reminder of what could have been).

Interesting to compare his mindset to James McDonald when he went up there. Lids went there to win a premiership. McDonald to develop their kids. If the giants season gets any worse, it will be hard for lids to remain positive.

i moved on from any romanticism about Lids when he got all mouthy about the club.
best i can do is sing "Que Sera Sera..."

Prestia has chronic calf issues. We could be the butt of jokes before long also

Why? Presty played some bloody good finals footy n helped us win the flag. Anything else he does is a bonus n if his legs fall off n he never plays another game for us, it's all good, jobs done.

Yep, Prestia won’t cause us any bad press. A bit like Hawthorn’s shocking drafting of talls never rated a mention because they kept winning flags.

Yes. I feel.for his mental state. What's he going to do if we make the GF again? He's already been to the zoo, there's nowhere else worth going in Sydney
