Unashamed Lids fan but I noticed some real bad chasing / defensive efforts by Lids against Cats and WCE in prior weeks but his offensive numbers were up, and tackle stats surprisingly high. Thought the same again last night but gee he was clean on a couple of half-volley pick-ups in the wet. Reckon he'll go around again next week and do good.tha8ball said:Might struggle to hold his spot I reckon. Very average last night.

He may have got tight calves from walking on tippy toes not to wake the baby. If you turned up at their place, you had to text and not ring the door bell, as the baby is / was a very light sleeper. Even outside the house i was tip toeing.
I fully agree with this. Whilst I appreciated what he did for the tigers, and remember how when at his prime he signed up quickly for a longer contract at less $. So in this respect he always put the club first and played his best.mad_tiggy911 said:No way would I want Deledio anywhere near mentoring our kids or coaching them.
Well he was on the money with the game plan.Larrikin said:I fully agree with this. Whilst I appreciated what he did for the tigers, and remember how when at his prime he signed up quickly for a longer contract at less $. So in this respect he always put the club first and played his best.
However, especially in his last year with the Tigers, I always got the feeling he was a little bit of a divisive factor. Didn't agree with the game plan, not a great thing with young players in the team who would have looked up to him as the senior statesmen.
This year we have seen what a team that is fully united can achieve.

just looked like an outside player waiting for ball to spill out
Thank god we traded him to GWS and recieved a good trade
