Thanks for all the memories Brett. Will sure miss you in the Yellow and Black, and whilst I am sad you wont get to experience success with us - I hope you do during the rest of the career as you have sure earned it after some of the rubbish teams you have had to play in with us. Not just Fyfe. Geelong *have* to trade in a 1st round pick next year. We have two. Their desperation should put us in a great position for a lopsided trade.
Knowing we have 2 first rounders will also make us appealing to player managers for their charges who are looking to move.
Will be good to see Lids enjoy his footy next year. I see Cameron suggests Lids will play forwaRD. Imagine Lids taking the NO 3 mid back man behind Stevie J and Toby Green. Remember watching Lids in his 1st game against Geelong. We got spanked but remember thinking we had a bona fide star on our hands. He is a truly elite player of the competition and I thank him greatly for the service to the club. However, it was the right decision for both Lids and the RFC.
Well done Lids. You should be really proud of your career thus far. Hope you get to enjoy some success at your new club. I for one will be cheering you on.
