We did very well with this. Lewis (same age) just got punted for change, so we did well from the position we were in. Well done!

Exactly. At worst we are back to three picks in the first three rounds next year. 2x1st's + 1x3rd. At worst you take two young KP's which the draft is stacked with next year.

Gives huge flexibility to do anything. That's a solid B+ for trade week.

I'd go sign Barlow as a delisted FA next.

Triple agree but we have 2 x 3rd rdr's next year dont we?

The Cats pick has real potential to go single figures.

If it's a top 10 pick then we stand a very good chance of getting a key forward & key back with our first two selections. Next year could well be an era defining draft.

An era hey? If i can keep out of the Downunder Pub i might be around to see it.

I don't wish harm on anyone, but geez, if Danger could just have a series of niggling injuries next year, that'd be great. Could get our pick 6 back a year later.

Brett Deledio traded to GWS for a future 1st round and a future 3rd round pick.

Given the first round pick was first assigned to Geelong we have effectively traded him for an end of first round and end of third round in next years draft.

Disappointing that we couldn't have got a first round pick in this years draft. Only time will tell but i feel we could have done better.

It's not ideal but it's a good result, Broders. Good business to have two 3rd rounders too with Naish coming next year.

I don't like anything the Cats did. Same with Hawks. That JOM price of 2x1st and 2x2nd is so risky.

If that Cats pick is single figures the trade is even better.

see ya lids.
what am I gonna do with my name now??
and my jumper with his number 3 and signature on the back???

ahhh well it was the right thing to do I suppose.

congrats on your premiership medal/s also lids. as my avatar says medal no 1. the rest are coming at another club unfortunately....

Best of luck to Brett, I really do wish him all the best. I can't quite understand the terms of the trade yet, I just feel a bit sad he is leaving.
Ditto

If GWS make the final it'll give me another reason to watch and barrack for them. With Lids there and Cameron as coach, we can call it our own.

Let's hope the Geelong first rounder we have received is is inside 10 and our own first rounder is pick 18 ;).
