This is probably not right but it just feels like Bellis single handedly lost this game. The number of completely ineffectual marking contests where he utterly failed to contact or take the ball forward which then cost goals just grates.

He is just not afl standard. Has to be traded precisely because we are playing him.

Yes he has played some good games this year, yes he played 113 games in a row, yes he has the fitness and strength and yes he must be traded.

I agree with you and I would add Garthwaite to that, the both of them combined cost us so many goals and momentum, I hate to single players out, but they were shocking, Higgins and Butler not far behind.

Hope he gets picked up as a free agent at the end of the year. Constantly involved in opposition scoring chains, either through non effort, bad placement, ball watching or 5% less hardness than required. Then usually mouths off at someone else like it's their fault he didn't defend properly. Started his career well but just hasn't ever improved.
