Brandon Ellis

In a couple of the nab matches Brando was definately positioned behind the ball at centre bounces , not sure what his role was after that .

looks like he's got the half back gig with yarran and conca out. not sure about this.

He does read the play well, that's why he gets so many possessions. The only negative in has game is his disposal when under no pressure. All players, even elite players, will make mistakes when kicking under pressure. But there is no excuse for a player as skilled as B.Ellis for the number of squandered opportunities caused by his poor disposal. He definitely needs to improve in this area and this year the coaches should expect him to.

Interesting how many of us see things differently. I reckon when we don't have the ball he stays in space for the easy receive rather than in an blocking space, if that makes sense, ie would rather be available for a teammate who wins the ball, rather than create a contest himself. And his goalkicking is very poor.

Improved as the game went on but feel he's being given a different role to previous years and wondering whether its taking him a bit of time to adjust.
