Still havent seen any mention in the media of him "wanting out".
I'd say that's probably because people here are chicken littling about him and the worst possible outcome is him going to Carlton in the PSD.

Don't most players come out of contract at sometime and then negotiate a new deal, isn't that normal

normally you want your better players,

or your more valuable assets

to always have 12 months + remaining

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

So Barrett said he'll likely get less money than he originally expected because we don't have as much left.

Didn't say he'd leave though.

What happened to the war chest? We lost the key?

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Why the hell haven't just offered him fair money and signed him up? He's shown his value and promise; could develop into our mini-version of Jake Stringer as he develops confidence.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Has always come across as the typical Gen Y with an inflated opinion of himself and sense of entitlement. Would be happy to see the back of him as part of a good trade for the club.

it'll be a case of us having the $$$, but as he hasn't signed before now, he then gets whats left over after trade period

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

I thought he showed absolutey fantastic signs this year
I'd be furious if we lost him

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

One would have to assume he'd be bitterly disappointed not being selected against North.
Can't blame him.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Yep AT but you would hope that could put that fire in his belly to prove Dimma made an error, build his fitness base more, re sign for 2 , show us the talent he has and his next contract will be better!

Don't want this kid traded.

Deleido MK 2 but younger.

Richmond have been really good signing players over the years. Not many want to leave like at Carlton, Essendon and Collingwood.

I think Richmond will get him to sign..
the last decent player I can think of that never wanted to stay at club anymore was Brad Ottens.
Now that was 14 years ago.
