If has the same talent that Harper has I will be rapt.
I'm hoping that he is the 2014 version of N.Brown

Keiran Harper and Nathan Brown have quite a significant gap between them ability-wise. Is Harper getting a game at north?

Lets hope hes more like browny.

Harper is a very good player, was injured this year.
N. Brown is in his own class. Unmatched.
Just watch the last qtr against Collingwood and him ripping there premier defender clement apart.

After sifting through all the posts/articles etc on this kid - that's exactly who I thought of zips.
I'm imagining a Nathan Brown who's even better overhead.

Fair enough, I don't see it with harper but time will tell

And I remember that quarter, a very fond footy memory of mine.

Billings is more like Nathan Brown, I think Lennon is closer to Goddard, just a supremely silky utility who can play at either end of the ground and is very strong overhead.

Stop it Bully, Mrs Tbar could walk in and think I'm looking at something else. Excited!

Nice looking action that.

Very clean, looking forward to seeing him get the ball at half-forward and hit up a target inside 50

At least it will cushion his head a bit if he lands heavily on hard ground. :)

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Speaking to one of the players yesterday, and he was very happy the club picked up Lennon. The club had been into him all year, and as has been mentioned, he made some pretty solid connections with the boys during and after the week he spent at the club. The playing group is consulted in regards to improving the list, and they were pretty much unanimous this was the guy.
Due to some late rumours circulating about opposition clubs intentions, apparently it was a nervous wait until our pick.
I was told that Lennon kicked 4 goals in a 40 min scratch match during the the AIS week, while playing on Steve Morris.
I asked if Morro was taking it easy, and the reply was 'Morro doesn't like having goals kicked on him'.
Sounds promising.

Nice story!

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Lennon seems to have the ability to deliver the ball by foot to intended targets, even when they are confined or in tight circumstances.
This young fella, all things going well, has the potential to be one of the best.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Well if someone can kick goals on Morris I'm glad he's playing for us and not the opposition.
