Ben Lennon

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

I agree he won the Norwich rising star nomination ffs. Remember the dropping of white before the Carlton final 2 years ago? This was after Foley was injured the week before and then conca did his hammy in the first qtr. that was 3 midfielders down - 1 due to fate - at the 20 minute mark of the 1st qtr in that final. We ran out of legs in the 2nd half. I wonder why?

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Funny how a lot of Tiger supporters can figure out Conca and Griffiths in wasn't a great idea. But the selection committee can't. Three years in a row a few decisions have been perplexing that may have helped have a better outcome.

Oh well, not to be.

I just hope we keep the players that might play well in a final, if they ever get the chance.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Unless Lennon is a contested ball machine he wouldn't have made a difference today.

Cant make that categoric statement. The final margin was 19 points. There were some pivotal moments that could have easily changed the course of the game. Some good disposal may have come in handy at those times. Would have been highway robbery if we won but we weren't that far off a successful heist. Of course we'll never know

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Wouldn't have hurt to have him in, seemed like with the extra tall we fell into an old bad habit of bombing it into the forward line. Might have lowered their eyes if Lennon was in.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Ben is no lemon but couldn't be squeezed in our side today. Had he run out of juice? ;D

If true , what a soft co**

Maybe he just doesn't want to play for such a dumbarse coach who doesn't rate natural forwards and natural talent.

Conca and Griffiths pfffftttt!!!!!

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

If true then it was done before today and there wasn't a damn thing we could do about it.

So if it is true there's nothing we can do about losing a first round draft pick after 2 years, potentially to the bottom team in the PSD for no compensation?

Wow, we really are incompetent at list management.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Well, if you have to lose someone with talent to faciltate a trade then so be it.

I guess Carlton chopped Henderson when he told them the truth, don't know if that has happened in this case, but might at least explain what seemed a perplexing selection table decision.

What do you suggest they do? I can't see Carlton wanting to play fair with anyone else.
