Or where he doesn't get dropped in finals for below average types the coach has a soft spot for

Hopefully he resigns. I doubt it given the circumstances
I doubt he will resign either.

I expect him to re-sign

He kicked 1 goal from his last 6 games. Is that enough for a forward to lock himself in for a final?

You must have low standards...

Why would you HOPE that happens? What kind of a supporter are you?

Kicked more goal per game on average over the course of the season

Still not signed a new contract

Season could be over tomorrow

I'm sure he will be happy getting dropped for spuds like grigg or Newman
You really have no idea.

Grigg is not a spud.

I have a good idea

On form, dropping Lennon is wrong

As it's plain to see he is playing well and influential

He has not kicked goals but his kicking to teammates is too class

Given his contract situation, it would be a shame to lose such a high potential, young, first rounder. For th sake of some average players

and newman was a captain of our club. He deserves respect from anyone who loves the sport let alone the RFC.

Agreed, but he may well have stayed a year too long.

Fair comment aj. After picking up all kids except for hunt, and with a few players missing large chunks of the year I can see the merit in keeping him around.

Its all an opinion game where we sit.

But lack of respect for a club captain is Total BS. They should stick to Farcebook.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Still very much a work in progress, plenty of talent, just needs to match it with a bit of desperate work ethic both ways up n down the ground.
Perhaps needs to let the disappointment of missing out on our final burn a little n convert it into a big pre season with a hint of mongrel attitude, could easily be the making of the young fella.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Lennon is in his 2nd season. He has years ahead of him. The decision is up to him. If he wants to do the work and break into a good side and have the possiblity of becoming a Premiership winning player then he'd be well advised to stay at the Tigers. If he wants to increase his pay packet, get gifted games and have years of frustration ahead of him then maybe he should go to the Blues.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

I would say I hope he leaves. I would say I hope he has success at another club as well. I would definitely say I hope it teaches the club to play the best players and don't be *smile* morons at the selection table, but I still love the club and don't want us to go back any further....

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Two seasons and has finally shown real promise. Was unfairly dropped for the finals IMO but hope he is man enough to sign on for a third season and more. Could be part of a big future for the club.
