It might be a fair argument that we should have played Lennon up forward early instead of Morris. Regardless of workrate and pep talks.

might have helped short-term, and it might have led to Lennon remaining lazy, and not allowing him to reach his full potential.

who knows.

I think he would excelled even further and won the Rising Star Award.

Word is that he was on pretty good terms with himself. Who knows, he may have learned some humility.

My guess is that it was deliberate.

Work hard, learn how to defend and then you might make the team. There may have been a couple of others in the 2nds who has been given the same message imo,

is your strike rate up there with Lazy Daze?
You've said some ordinary things on PRE but that could be the most insulting.

no it's ok, I'm over the ferocity of the attack. Time heals.

Back to the Lennon of the early season tonight. Very immature. Just didn't give at all at some contests. Either he needed a rest or he'll be dropped. Disappointing.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Could kick three in a quarter in a final.

Must play.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Could have been a good lesson for Benny. " See what happens when you don't work your butt off !! "

The kid is 20, hope he learns from it

Was poor to half time. But then started really getting into it in the 3rd, think he racked up 8 disposals in the 3rd and he was substituted. Why would you substitute when he's just finding his way strongly into the game?

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

I think he was subbed for stargazing, tl. He was witnessing. We'll see what the coach thought at selection time.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

I think he was subbed off to give him a rest and in deference to him not having a tank, yet. He's important going forward and could be a real surprise packet in the finals.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

How was that kick from dusty that hit lennon ... marking over his shoulder must have gone 65 . Was like a perfect Quarterback throw .. centimetre perfect was not not used to describe it but in the last the commentary team were gushing over Dusty

have to agree. coaching staff need to be all over the video tape with him this week. inexperience I know, especially given the partially farcial nature of last night but still, has a week to be made aware of finals necessities

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

After a slashing game against the Bombers, i'm picking Ben to bounce back this week. He was a bit quiet against Norf but i suspect that might have been because of his Rising Star nomination.
If he can play a similar game against Norf to what he played against the Bombers he will be a real hard match up.

We'll find out what Dimma thinks on Saturday, T S. This young bloke can play. Hope he lifts tears it up.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Must play. We need his class in our forward line, especially during a finals series. His marking and ability to impact aerial contests is also crucial in combating Hansen and co.
