Then Balme will make a decision on the coach at end of 2018 and probably promote from within with all of Caracella, Rutten and Leppitsch in the frame.

Nah the darksiders are right, we should have already lifted the 2017 premiership cup. Under any other coach it would already be in the trophy cabinet. How we haven't won it yet astounds all darksiders.

Seriously looking like a waste of another first round pick, if some club happens to be desperate enough to consider him at years end, we'll only get shrapnel for him. Late draft pick or somehow tacked onto a trade as an after thought.
Recruiting shouldn't miss so badly with first round picks.

Absolutely shockingly bad first round pick. Not sure which was worse Conca over Heppell or Lennon over Cripps. Imagine if we had nailed those 2 drafts, we could have been looking at a golden era right now.

Well no one wanted him at the end of last season so I doubt they'd want him after this season. As someone said prior he might get a gig through the rookie draft but that'd be about it

Hes had a strong VFL year with some injuries, still young and perhaps the penny has dropped about hard work......

id be offering him a 1-2 year deal on reduced (basic) money.

At least with the Concareter it's injuries that have stuffed his career, he's a fairly reasonable player when he can stay on the park. Lennon so far has given us three fifths of SFA by comparison.

Astbury had accomplished more than Lennon at that point. Most of his issues were injury related, plus he's key position size. Lennon doesn't have any of that. Won't be missed.

Understand Easy, i wasn't comparing as players, just mentioned Balmey had said we don't discard 1st rounders so easily when Conca wasn't attracting interest and they signed him on for another 2 years... That was more my point, if thats how they see things Ben probably has a 1-2 year downgraded deal, unsure though as seems Dimma doesn't want to play him!
