Ben Lennon

Looks like Houli got attributed with his 2nd goal.

Interesting. Didn't think he got a boot on it.
Had 1 goal & 9 possessions & is lauded. For perspective Lloyd had 1 goal 10 possessions & got dropped.
Main difference is Ben had 3 tackles, Sam zero.

Yeah, didn't think the Collingwood player or Lennon touched it. Great goal Houli.

Fair point.

Main difference is the expectations of Sam are higher than Bens.

I agree with that. I don't even know why it had to go to third umpire. They were trying to ascertain whether it hit Lennon's boot or not but it was a goal anyway.

Goal umpires question was "was it touched off the pack "

Weird then because at the ground and on TV later the video was concentrating on whether he got his foot to the ball.

Pretty sure when they first start the review tl, they look to see if the ball is touched as it clears the pack

as they say in the classics, "his sh!t"

Too slow. Way too slow. Double grabs every marking attempt. If the balls huts the ground it's all over.
Can't see him being around for long.
Gordon was better

Hopefully they would say "he's" in the classics - but yeah, he is. He will need to do a lot better than that to justify his spot. I'd have Lloyd every day of the week.

Appears he now has the passion to step up to a level beyond the VFL. One expects given a few more runs under his belt Lennon will be an asset to the Tigers of Punt Road.

I'd love for him to make it, but I just don't know if he's good enough.

He's at his best running up towards the HFF/Wing, clunking marks.

Don't think he's suited to a Forward Pocket. Not quick enough.

Pretty much. I guess it's a step up from ground zero but 9 possessions and a goal isn't great.

I counted at least 3 intercepts in forward line by Lennon. Didn't have high disposal count but was damaging with them. I still prefer Lloyd.

Another dissapointing day for Ben, I think we have all seen enough to cut our losses

will be gone end of the year, Cant see anything he offers that lloyd cant match and even better
