Unfortunately for Lennon, clubs have moved away from blokes who have talent but jack all work ethic defensively - see Motlop, Stringer (late in the season).

Needs to get super fit like Lloyd last season otherwise his AFL days are probably over.
But he is putting in for gods sake, he is working on his sprinting a massive 1 day a week. His biggest weakness and he dedicates 1 day, now that's dedication.

He's never given up on his dream.

It's a real story of inspiration. Could be a movie.

I know. He's persisted (sort of) for a whole 3 years!!

People will be speaking of his resilience in awe for generations to come.

Read that last line with the Chariots of Fire music in the background and you'll start to tear up

Hope the bloke makes it. He might be a *smile*, but at least he has talent. Cloggers like conca, shank, Ellis, Grigg, towny, and their ilk gifted so many games. Yeah they have great attitudes but they can't kick. Maybe find a decent set of coaches and get the best out of him.

Well Mr Lennon, too many offers with not enough time to consider who to go too?!?! which club was it again?

Hmm delisting is also on the cards after the current contract is up too. Not many players get the opportunity to play AFL football on some healthy $contracts. How about also trying to complete a full preseason this time. keep the figjam locked in the locker and play football like your employed to do. Might just find some of that potential.

We are stuck with him for 2017 so I hope he can turn the corner.

Lets hope the vibrancy does not result in a wheel falling off around said corner.

But then again he does have the turning circle of a bus.

Ben could quit which is effectively terminating his contract. But then I don't think he'd be allowed back in the AFL system for 24months.

But with Ben, I'm sure 2017 will be a vibrant year for us.

As I've said before , I'm not a fan, however his on the list and has a couple of strengths, good hands , good kick , so this pre season I'd be trying to play him to his strengths and train him up in Lids's forward role, don't like the chances of him making it, however that's the role id give him.

Despite the ribbing he has copped on here, I hope he puts in the hard work and makes some posters eat their words. Big pre season and there are major opportunities in our forward line to be taken.

Opposition administrator: "What do you offer a team Ben?"

BL: "Vibrancy!!!!"

Opposition administrator: "Eh, what do you mean by that Ben?"

BL: "Well I guess I mean something like this...
