'I made this comparison in my argument to trade Lennon for Yarran, athletically they are near identical. Both are/were very strong overhead with Lennon being a better kick, however I'm not sure this trait alone is sufficient to make the grade'
This quote reads that your comparing yarran to lennon, as you mentioned both in the same sentence. Not a big deal but just saying it does read like that

So I'm advocating trading Yarran for Lennon yet I think neither will make the grade?

Anyhow, time to move on, this is just semantics.

For what it's worth Bully I thought it was pretty clear you were talking about Lennon and O'Hanlon. I do recall you advocating the trade of Lennon for Yarran; I wish we had have done that. We got just about as much out of Lennon as we did Yarran this year.

A pick around 30 would be a great deal for Figjam Lennon.

I think we're all getting into semantics and I'm sick to death of talking about potential of these guys. FFS Lennon has been at the club for ten minutes and has zero highlight reel bar three marks that he has taken. As for Yarran he has done nothing since we got stooged by Carlton to give them pick 19 for him. At this stage they're both duds until they prove otherwise.

The bloke had Glandular Fever which can take months to recover from.

Then you have to get your fitness base back.

If we don't get the right trade I am fine with keeping him, trading a player at his low point makes for bad business.

Skinfolds of a tuckshop ladies arm.

He did a lot of work in the pre season to get fit. Was flying. Boxing everyday.

His skin folds were down.

Got the illness and that ruined his year.

If Lennon stays on the list then he is going to have to bust his backside in the pre-season if he wishes to earn the respect of his team mates and his stripes on the field.
To date has been very disappointing given the original high hopes I held.
Trade him if the return is something decent, but not sure there will be too many offers coming his way.

Get rid of him
Lead legs.
Couldnt pick a slower footballer then him.
Hopefuly we get a pick under 70

Can't understand it. A bloke that has not played a game gets Collingwood a first rounder (freeman) and then they release Kennedy & Seedsman and again get 2 good picks in return.
How the *smile* does this bloke not get us the same return??

If we get a pick in the 70's for him, for a bloke that was drafted at pick 12, 15minutes ago.
The recruiting dept should just walk out, never to return.
