Talking about miserable, went through Bullarto the other week. Wet and cold!

Good on you, WT, for venturing out to these parts ... and, yes, it IS one of the wettest and coldest parts of Victoria ... but bloody beautiful and quiet nevertheless.

Let you in on a little secret BT. I don't tell many people this but my wife grew up there. Went to the little primary school which by all accounts looks like closing down soon.

Be proud, WT, your wife must be a mighty fine woman then. Bullarto is a unique part of the world! And, yes, it seems the school is on the verge of going by the wayside.
The only other remaining attraction in this fine old hamlet will be the annual tractor pull, held each March.

He just thinks been on an AFL list makes him a star. You have to work for it, you have to want it.
Ben just thinks it's going to happen.

If the Tigers are prepared to let Lennon go then maybe he just isn't up to scratch.

Another club will get to find out I guess. I thought he was progressing reasonably last year once given an opportunity (after trying duds like Morris and Gordon in the forward line ahead of him) but this year really didn't get an opportunity. Maybe it is his attitude and maybe another club will make him realise his past immaturity or maybe it's just another case of the Tigers being unable to develop a young player with great potential. Who really knows but this scenario has happened far too often at Tigerland.

Best to trade now before everyone else finds out

I know a few nuff nuffs from Ballarat who like the mushrooms out that way.

The good thing about us is, that 15 other clubs think they can get more out of players.
Therefore a player like Lennon will have several options to choose from.
Therefore getting us a better player or pick in return..

Less board spills and more focus on the recruiting department for mine.
Might go a long way to improving the mood of plenty of Tiger fans. Massive improvements to all aspects of recruiting urgently required.

The fact is that this is not borne out by facts. Who has done well after leaving Richmond ?

Schulz, White (debatable)......

Ottens. The only one I can think of in fairly recent memory

Going back a bit, but Maxfield did alright
Also Morton got himself a little something for his efforts. Not saying he raised his game, but he is now gets to go to Premiership reunions

He was a big loss was Maxfield. Outstanding person and operator off the field by all reports. He should be someone we should look at getting back.

could be a case of the damage was already done ;D
Could be, who knows?

The fact that many are going back to the 1990s to find examples shows that Richmond players don't excel when they leave. Ottens for sure but we got 2 first rounders for him, even though we wasted them
