Actually this makes me think, if a footy team had to represent a type of music fan, who would they be.
For whiney girl rock like Coldplay, I would nominate Hawthorn fans. The records show both are popular, yet know one knows more than two people who like them. Also they love a good whine (we are the best team - not geelong, don't pick on Buddy, blah blah blah).
My personal favourite - and most obvious one - is Freo. If these guys don't have EMO stamped on their forehead, no-one does. Everyone hates both, and cutting yourself is probably the only way to cope with watching Freo play week in week out.
Finally I have Port Adelaide and that bogan wank music personified by Kid Rock. No explanation needed here ;D

The King is dead, long live the King.......Viva la vida !!........heh heh c'mon Redmond they're a great band compared to the majority of rubbish out there today.
I would've liked to see some of the oldies at the G next week actually....Oils, Enz, H&C, Hoodoo Gurus....

Getting on topic for a minute - and for your interest Redford; I am going to the 'Led Zeppelin International Experience' tonight. A couple of guys from Zep Boys and a lead singer out of the UK. Should be interesting..

hah hah, I knew I would cop it for mentioning Coldplay here. I think they were superb entertainment and the 12,000 people there seemed to agree.
