Been to a good gig lately/Concerts [Merged]

Re: Been to a good gig lately? [Merged]

I posted here on Oct 30, 2006 about seeing Bruce Springsteen live in Copenhagen and believe it or not here I am doing it again. He performed Saturday night live at the Forum, Copenhagen - standing room only and only about 10,000 people - small for Bruce.

After I saw Bruce live in Melbourne at both his 1985 concerts I never thought I'd see him again but Saturday was the fifth Bruce concert I'd seen and interestingly (Phantom you'll like this) for the first time ever I heard him do a song from one of his first two albums - Kitty's Back. Ahh, if only he'd done Rosalita he'd have brought the house down.

58-years-old and he had a cold (rumour has it that in between his previous concert in Oslo on the Tuesday and this one he flew home for some recovery time), still sensational. And he's coming back here in June.

Jimmy Bartel, Bruce Springsteen, me ?? Just what is the attraction in Denmark ?????? (Ok, don't answer that).

Don't know if it is a gig as such but went to Phantom of the Opera tonight.

Not bad. A pretty good show if they would cut back on the singing and dancing.

Absolutely Rocker,

Leysys been to some top gigs in his travels over the years & has seen prob just about every big name DJ in his time but nothing compared to friday night.

The sound, lighting, music & atmosphere was unequalled.

For any fans of electronica that get a chance to see them (which will be a while as this is the end of there world tour) take up the chance.

here's a couple of clips from fridays show -

This was actually a replacement gig. Originally it was gunna be AC/DC, because their Prez loved the song "The Jack" (he thinks it is a sweet romantic ballad about a girl and her boyfriend "Jack").

Gig got cancelled though, because the Iranians were concerned the Prez's special request for "Heatseeker" may give the Yanks the ammo they need to accuse them of having a nuke weapons program.
