Oh man, ya gotta see this! its a concert film, well actually a festival film. From the 70s and all these bands got on this train and toured thru Canada. its a ripper: The Band, Janis, Grateful Dead, Buddy Guy, The Sha Na Nas.

Heaps of great concert footage (joplin in particular) and great stuff from the train trip.

its on DVD so u should be able to get it. i hired it from a place in Errol st, Nth Melb.

its a great film. they stop the train at one place, like Calgary or somewhere out in the sticks, specifically to buy a shitload of booze. The whole thing is a giant, magnif shambles.

Rosy, you are gonna love this. There's a new DVD of Dylan at Newport Folk Festival in 63,64 and 65. The 1965 performance is the infamous one of course, where he plugged in and blasted the crowd with 'Maggie's Farm' and 'Like a Rolling Stone.'

Just watched this amazing film. It's called 'The other Side of the Mirror' and for a music fan it's indispensable. I picked it up at JB for under 20 bucks and i will cherish it forever!

if you lot wanna hear some decent music and see a brilliant live act, go and see infected mushroom at metro on Feb 22. i've seen them 3 times and there is seriously no one in the world like the MUSHIES!!!!!

Might even follow your advice there...I mean, there isn't much else on at that time...Operator Please, British India : ...the Unearthed Winner might be ok too.

Most annoyed at the clash between Sarah Blasko and LCD Soundsystem, but I'm gonna have a great day apart from that!
