Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Massive fan of Bachar.

What a year he's had.
Just about our most consistent player this season.
Runs all day, has improved his defensive game enormously and is near the best kick in the club.
Unbelievable pickup for us.

Top post
Jet.

The ability to time a run off half-back, leaving your man, to receive ball through the corridor, take guts.

Houli has become as skilled as they come in reading the play.

IMO this, along with newfound defensive hardness, is the catalyst for his career best form.

Houli out this week? That's the rumour...
Hope not. Houli n White out would blow a massive hole in our run n carry game against a Blues side that loves an open running game. To tall n slow last game against them, got carved on the outside n overlap run.

Houli said the other day he's had adductor issues which have required management for a while. Unusual for players to talk about these things. May be a ruse, as Baloo suggests.

Doc Larkin said on Saturday night he went off for some work on an adductor. He was back on the ground after that and seemed to be okay. Tuck came on when Whitey did his hamstring.

I think a bit of cloak n dagger going on here....Houli went off last and then came back on and did well....He has been managing it and even last 2 games V GWS and Ess hasn't stopped his run, He'll play...

What did people think of his game ? Thought his long kicking lacked its usual penetration and sometimes accuracy, I understand his groins are a problem.

starnge that twice he was running into our foward zone and could of kciked a long goal but his kicking had none of its usual penetration...lack of guts or a injury
