Yeh, hard to see how he was less effective than George (and I'm a George fan).

Didn't make any super-massive blues that I recall. Stuffed up the handball but then immediately tackled the player - this is the Houli way. Intercept marks, tackles, competes, links up, runs hard, usually delivers to our players.

Excellent game.

I don't take too much notice of the AFL player ratings but yesterday they had Houli as the seventh-worst player on the ground, just ahead of Bolton but behind Castagna. Crazy stuff.

On the other hand, they had Balta as best-on-ground.

One of the coaches thought Houli was second BOG.
