Hardwick said we were being conservative and "We'll cop the week", so hopefully back for the next game in nine days.

Is there such a thing as a one week hammy for a bloke over 30?

Im thinking this is being played down and will most likely be a 3 week hammy

Off memory, someone had a 1 week hammy last year... might've even been Bachar?

I think it's how the club manages injuries these days.

Was just near me when he reached for his string, but he didn't put his hand up for a trainer, and he kept playing.

He's obviously done something to it, but it seems at the lower end of the spectrum.

I'm starting to doubt what sort of a career Bachar will have from here in now he's had issues with his calf & hamstring.
Need to start looking for the heir apparent cause this great Tiger is getting close to the end.

It’s been the biggest worry for me over the summer and at this point nobody is coming close to replacing him. Such an important position is the running half back and though there’s potential nobody is a lock to take over from Bachar, maybe Butler could be tried there

I think we've got a few candidates, but no-one is ready able to step up yet.

It shows the true value that Bachar is to us. A lot of folks have rubbished him, but imo he's still a vital part of our backline & won't be easily replaced.

Did I hear in Hardwick's presser correctly that Edwards was tried at half back last week & it was a revelation?

Menadue will get any ther chance tommorow, hopefully he can make the most of it. I think Naish is the best candidate going forward.

Bash becoming a real worry re injuries they may rest him for a couple more games rather than rush him back. Starting to get pessimistic that Griggs might be finished

Father time catches up with all of us. Bachar has been criminaly underrated since he came to Richmond. I am fearing the worst. He was on track to win Normie, but Dusty was on a roll.
