Buddy tried to do it last week, but managed to just miss Menadue's head so nothing happened. That was a dog act, not what Houli did in an effort to get an opponent to let go of his bloody jumper, so he could receive the ball. If the umpire had done his job and called Lamb for holding then we'd all have something else to whinge about.yandb said:Houli is not the victim here, his dog act was not class it was thuggery. If some player did this to one of ours you would be saying he got his just desserts.

Damn straight.Harry said:Well done Bachar for knocking out the cheating scum. Let's see if he tries to scrag you next time. Time for some more unsociable tigers to step up and show we mean business. There needs to be more of this from our players. We need to be feared again.

*smile*el said:I've never thought the AFL have it in for us. That makes no sense as we draw so well. It's just that they are completely spineless, particularly under their current leader Gil.
The issue is the media. They HATE Richmond and love us failing as it adds to the 30 odd years of our 'stuff ups and infighting'. The media revel on this. If we find success, what do they then write about, after all , if we draw huge crowds, we also sell papers. You just have to read post game reports, even when we've had decent wins, they will always find a negatice angle on us. Every pre season they build us up and build us up, but then at the end of the story is the consequences if we "fail yet again"! They are setting in place the framework for the story before it's unfolded.
The problem with Gil is that he just isn't a leader, which you'd typically think of as an Alpha Male type. If Gil was in prison, he'd be so far down the alpha order, the line behind him in the shower would include about 3 or 4 vowels
So when the media circus comes to town whose the one scared of the clowns, oh that would be Gil

Over to you, AFL.

This will be interesting. Clearly intentional, clearly high. watch them argue impact to avoid a 4 week suspensionLeeToRainesToRoach said:Boy oh boy, wowee! Tom Bugg just drops a Sydney player off the ball with a left to the head. BT says that's worse than Houli's.

Bugg is so stupid, he's picked the worst week to hit someone in the head.
