Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Must say I dont take too much as gospal on here, saying that a lot had Houli as very soft, must say watching the game again really liked a lot of his efforts at putting his body on the line.

It's astonishing we have so many in the top 30 given we're not a particularly high-scoring side.

Or maybe other teams share the scores more and we need even more avenues to goal.

This year we're actually managing to put better score on the board which is promising, just can't defend.

Houli's past two games have been excellent. Superb user of the ball who is learning to go when it is his turn. I'm very confident when he has the pill that a Richmond player will get it next.

Saw a recent stat from OTC on conceding goal from stoppages. We still get smashed there.

I have noticed we seem to wait until the opposition has the ball and then try to tackle them, not sure why we are not trying to get in and get it first. Not happening all the time, but I am noticing it a bit...

Taken a leaf out of Collingwood's game plan, you reckon?

Because of that stupid holding the ball rule interpretation it makes it more appealing to actually wait and takle then get the ball 1st.

unless its a genuine 50/50 or even 40/60. if our ball wasnt the sole objective of a player i'd be staggered

didnt think he was as good as last week but if thats an average game then we are on a winner

The drafting at the year end of 2010 may in history be determined as the turning point though in reality probably happened the year before. Conca, Batchelor and Grigg and Houli very cheap. Smart drafting & recruiting.

Makes a huge difference to our team, when we are doing our old school Benny Hill routine running in circles in the back line when Bachar gets it you know he's going to get us out of trouble with a line breaking kick

Great game once again by Basher loved the goal from almost the edge of the centre square looked like a 65 metre kick.
23 disposals (13 kicks, 10 handballs, 2 goals and 5 marks)
Keep up the great work Basher :clap :clap :clap :clap

He has been a revelation.
Has become a real game breaker and when he gets the ball, something usually happens to the good of the Tiges.

Sticking it up Essendon, just a perk!

Hello Houli.

Still doesn't kill the ball in a contested situation when he needs to - a couple got out tonight that ended up in Freo goals.

Still he hurt them plenty the other way. The kicking from him and others into the guts to open them up was great to watch. Risky but great to watch.
