Assistant Coach Wish List

Dan Jackson is doing a good job as the Crows Leadership and Development Manager, wouldn't mind him back at Tigerland in some capacity.

Xavier Clark has head over to North Melbourne as an assistant coach.

Looking like the changing of the guard at Tigerland is kicking along.

Corey Enright, as mentioned above. That would open up a spot for Mini at the Sainters. Everyone wins.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the remaining assistants Rutten, Teague and Lambo. I would be happy for Rutten and Teague to move on to get some more fresh ideas in.

Mebbe.
End of 2016 and Gale gave everything to support the head coach.
(Maybe not everything Dimma asked for but what was needed).

So I suspect Gale will make changes. With Yze's input.

I'd guess the Gale glare was to stop the convo with the media. All appointments will be discussed and made behind closed doors thank you very much.
Gale > Board gave Dimma most of the soft cap, leaving little left and not much room for bringing in others. His departure and Easy’s arrival should mean more is now available.

Love the Newy appointment. Hope Teague and Truck depart, the little things ive heard about the both of them arent great.
Truck helped develop our key talls in our golden era. I think he'd still have value there.
With X moving on, I'd love to get another indigenous coach in our panel, even if as a development coach. I reckon X was a good conduit for our indigenous youngsters.
Although our culture is pretty good, I can't help but think it would make the transition into Tigerland easier for some, if they felt there was someone who understood them on a cultural level. Can't help but think with as many talented indigenous players as there has been, that we couldn't find someone as an assistant coach.

Agree, you can see indigenous boys feeling good at the club. It makes you wonder why he left.

I reckon he wants a head coach opportunity. Probably wants to have a wider experienced resume to give him a better chance of success.

What about a novel idea how about getting the best assistant coach in. If he is indigenous or a minority so be it, but just get the best.

If we need an indigenous liason officer to help the players transition then employ that person separatly.

No coincidence he’s gone to a club where the senior coach was accused of racism by some former aboriginal players.

Smart move by the kangaroos.
