Alex Rance

He still makes mistakes, and he will continue to do so for some time yet, but he is improving and worth sticking with. He's a good size, takes a decent mark and he's got pace for a guy his side, they're all attributes the Richmond backline needs.

Who doesn't make mistakes? Just watched Scully miss two targets by foot.

Great again tonight! Well done again Alex! Spoiled Brown brilliantly all night!

Anyone notice Rances swollen knee? Could be worrying if we go into next week without ANOTHER defender..

Think he done that after yet another gutsy spoil on Brown late in that last quarter.

Very good game, and one of Brown's goals was from a shocking decision by the umps who were pathetic all night, boys ways. Delivery to Brown was poor it must mentioned

Ad Browne's other goal was because of a shocking turnover by Deledio which went straight back down Brown's throat.

Another good game.

Haven't seen a player have a game like that on Brown in a long time.

I thought Rance might have bitten off a bit more than he could chew before the 1st bounce when he roughed up Brown but he held his own and played a great physical game.

Good on him. Stood tall in a decimated defence.

Massive respect for A. Rance.
He can play this kid and the bigger the role the better he plays.
His ability to spoil with either hand is outstanding.
He is our long term full back.
PS No wonder Hawthorn went so hard for him 3 years ago, glad he stayed.
