I got a story.
An all or nothing salute.
Maybe its falling on a sword? Or maybe just trying for some decent sidemeat, steinbeck style?
I had a drink in a royal court today. Taz, tot, cc, caesar, oldster, spook, snake and that.
The captain was there too. Dyerere, like the wizard of oz. Huge and within reach, but not actually there.
Pretty sure leysey was lurking too.
I watched my cuz, kmacs bruv-in-law, fall like the twin towers.
$hai put on a little show and menaredue and cellis screamed to me
'Everything is as it should be'
Yeah ben lennon hiccuped, but like easy,jr (who will run out with dusty in a few years) said
He can kick better than you dad. Yeah.
Anyway, i said to CC, who is rolled gold,
'If we win the *smile*, i could drown in the yarra without a regret'
cc went 'yeah, theres nothing else'
And it got me thinking. Cause im a mix of mild mannered (occasionally, mostly at my mother-in-laws), all or nothing (im
about 25 grand up), and romantic (its our time, im not risking anything)
So im thinking, im on a razor edge. We are all on a razor edge. And its the same *smile* blade.
Its shredded feet, death, or glory (well, thats naff *smile*, but it sounds sweet and sits nice in the tale)

If there is another PRE pre or post GF get together I would love to know the location if only to meet in the flesh some of the infamous PRE "rat pack".
I have this picture of spook , tall athletic smart, TOO and CC a bit older and wiser (and a bit more padding?) , easy with crazy hair and alert eyes and a razor wit, snake more reserved but ready to fire, leysy - the racing toff who looks like chandler off friends just with less hair, SCOOP an early 30"s sharp dressed spiff with perfect hair, and dyer"ere - mmm the hunter s Thompson of pre. Just to glimpse him would be enough.
Would evo the philosopher and JB03 (the muck Malloy of PRE) be there? Ridley? MLD would be another it would be an honour to meet. Brodders17 and ant keeping it all social and nice.

In a brief whoa-is-jason castagne me period last night, I hit the 2018 fixture and boy did I work out a bet for the summer dreamer in all of us.
a grand on the tigers to win round 1, let ride on every MCG game (i.e. im betting on the tigers to go 14/14 on The G) would yield $111K.
Ive assumed a conservative starting price of $1.4 for all G games.
you could even cash out $10K after 10 straight and still end up with $50k.
after that finals series, Id be surprised if Dusty ever loses at the G again. ;D

Tigers $4.50 to make the 2018 grand final. Got them at $13 last year just before Round 18. I might instead risk a $50 insurance premium with TABCorp at $51.00 for a Tigers-GWS quinella to cover accommodation, drinks and tickets again.
