Also got Geelong over 39 1/2 tonight, I'm not confident at all but Geelong have to click on the field soon and it could be tonight.

you can double up on as many teams as you like Hawker, it just costs more. For 9 teams it is $10, for 10 it is$20, for 11 it is $40, for 12 it is $80 and for the whole 16 it costs $1280. There have been weeks when the pick 8 has paid over 5 grand, you just have to pick the week where there are major upsets if you spend say $320 and have 6 doubles.

It does pay out well sometimes though I still rather just tip 8 through a sportsbook and know your guaranteed odds.

including what surely must be one of the bets of the year for mine.

The bookies around the country really havent cottoned on to how much Brisbane have declined.
How else can one explain how the Swans (who play very well against the Lions anyway) can be $1.91 giving away 7.5 pts start.

Have a good look at the respective bottom 8 players on the teams and tell me how the swans can be at such at ludicrous price......

The cats look too tough for the demons in the wet tonight but short enough @ 1.55

with the weather the way it is it could also be a good weekend for a few little speculators, with Games at telstra will have a distinct scoring advantage,.

On that premis Nathan Thompson looks a good bet @ $26 for loedaing goalscorer of the round.
As are the doggies at $11 to get highest total score......

Agree with struggs, get on the doggies v the saints. It may well be that the cats and saints aren't much chop. Hawks have won two more games than the cats yet are around $2.50 to make the 8 with the cats are $1.25. That just aint right.

Might also get on the Swans and Crows if you can get some decent odds. I notice on BF that someone has layed the crows at $1.40 for $13k with another $10k available. someone likes the power.

At $3.30 the Power are defo overs.
I know they aint suprestars,or even anywhere as good as Crows,but in these derbys the odds are out the window.

Carlton have a good record vs Collingwood and if it rains like predicted then collingwoods talls around the ground are goign to have a tougher time then most expect.

1 unit can be any amount to anyone. As people bet in different amounts, units are used as a standard way of measuring profit/loss. If your ususal bet is $10 then that would be 1 unit but on your best bet of the day you may have 2 units (ie $20)

right o , well i had a win on the horses but a loss on the footy-eagles really struggle up forward i think

i listened to some knob on SEN who said freo were hopeless and eagles would win by 40+ so i backed eagles for a win

Mixed results for jb. Backed the dees and swans but gave it back on the Hawks and bulldogs. Not on my game this round only tipping 4 winners.
