AFL Awards

Agree. Rioli cr@ps ovet those two. Saad just takes little steps to make it look like he runs fast and Sinclair is a padder amd spends much more time around the ball.
Didn't they highlight only 2 weeks ago of Saad making basic mistakes coming out of the square against Brisbane??

Agree 100%. Curnow is massively overrated. His efforts against Melbourne and Collingwood were embarrassing.

If Riewoldt didn't make AA after winning the Coleman and Richmond missing the 8, Curnow shouldn't have either. Good player Curnow, but clearly behind Lynch, Hawkins and Cameron. Unbelievably, most of my Carlton mates agree, so I must be right!

Sicily and Rioli over all of Saad, Steward and Maynard (seriously wtf?). Sicily is penalised for being in a crap team but since when does that matter since its an individual award?

Sinclair is fair enough, has had a great year.
Maynard is an out and out gun. Plays on bigs (Reiwoldt/Curnow) and smalls. rarely beaten and has developed a rebound game. Star. Would love him at the tigers.

Jazz I recall the night they drafted him that he was big body at 18 years old
I'm pretty sure he went in the 30's

Mincey reckons it's an excellent AA team - what a surprise.

He also plays on the likes of Charlie Cameron. Her nearly always takes the oppos best/most dangerous forward, other than a Lynch/Hawkins type.

He's only 189cm.

Is Mincey calling for Jack Riewoldt's "legacy piece"?? He's played one more game than Shovekins and has kicked 30 odd more goals; plus has an additional flag. Not to mention having to spend the first 5-6 years of his career in one of the worst teams in the league. Shovekins has never head to play in a struggling team.
What outrages me with Hawkins "legacy piece" is we all know that it comes from AFL House. Why are McLachlan, Dillon & Brad Scott on the selection committee? They wouldn't watch a quarter of the football that you and I, and most footy fans watch every weekend.

Good points. Gill would barely watch a full game. Staggering he is on it. He shouldn't be on any sort of selection committee.

The AFL's corrupt influence permeates every single aspect of the game, which is why I find it hard to imagine Gale taking over and cleaning house.

Saw some stats on Jai Newcombe. Had the best year of all RS nominees yet barely rates a mention. plays a much tougher position than Nick D.

Here are some stats he leads of RS nominees:

1st i50's
1st Scor Inv
1st Goal Assists
1st Tackles
1st Cont Poss
1st Centre Cl
1st Clearances
1st Ave Metres Gained
2nd Disposals

So he does it offensively and defensively. In an average side.

Had some year but don't think he's got the kudos of many others.

WTF is this shjt?

Who asked this moron to come up with a second 22, and why does he think any of us give a crap who he reckons are the best of the rest?

I really don't get this at all, it won't attract any clicks, it is just crap he made up in a vain attempt to make the AA team look more reasonable.

F Me what a djckhead.

As his dad a marvel and legend of the same club? Then he doesn't fit the bill.......no fairytale story in that! Bit like the Blooooos jerks saying Baker didn't deserve his award 'cause he didn't come back from cancer!
