I like that his persona seems tougher than Dimma's, so there's no buddy buddy stuff with this bloke.
I noticed that too, no doubt his next post will be about being appointed coach of our great club.

Same. Its quite clear he understands modern footy as good as anyone. Everyone says it.
The key will be who he surrounds himself with. Hearing X will stay, hope thats true.
But as for other names, Ratten, Michael Barlow ( Shep boy like Yze) and I reckon an ex Melbourne player or coach will be in the mix. And don’t rule out some of the ex Hawks players that he coached. This is speculation by me. No hard mail.
But I’m genuinely excited to see the new gamelan. LFG.

You can take it to the bank that he will be there in pre-season.
Great to have a fresh voice about the place and new ideas.
Very pleased with Yze's appointment.
Also none of this easing into pre season. Days off here and there. Extra Xmas break. I expect we will be one of the first clubs on the track, all the way to Xmas and back at first opportunity after the break.
Footies will also be out on day 1.
