2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

11 players in rehab ( 12 if you include Lynch ) doesn’t fill me with excitement.
We need some overdue luck with injuries as our depth is very thin.
As above we do manage players etc & have them on different programs. If they are all still in rehab, say this time next week then it's not great.

As for the interviews thing, why doesn't the media do some decent "research" & go around to Clubs training & report on that, Kingy is the only 1 who does it. Also if they were even remotely respectable in how they went about it etc there might be more ppl at Club land willing to give them some of their time.

Is 2 of those 3 come good then our younger midfield depth suddenly starts looking much better with Taranto, Graham and Bolton all under 26 too, and potentially 3 round 1 draft picks this year in a midfield heavy draft.
Only 1 first round pick at this stage, with 2 second round picks. Will likely trade up with all our draft capital though so could be a handy haul come draft time

No matter how you toss it, having that many players unable to compete in our first game simulation is not ideal. The club had to drag in untried VFL players to make up the numbers

We have 9 picks so I reckon we will trade up to something like 3 1sts and a 2nd.

A lot of unknowns mostly around how good the academy & father/sons are. If they turn out to be good enough the clubs in question can’t afford to pass up then we can sit back and deal for the best offer from each club. Will be a fun trade period

only 4 on the injury list wednesday though so maybe there is just some management of players going on, or possibly niggles, nothing too serious
Yes but Coulthard injured himself on the 18th Dec, even though he looks close to resuming i think it should have been touched on.

Young and Juddy are fit as but both shoulders so not yet full contact

Dusty and Cumberland are new, could be just niggles or watch this space.

Grimes has done nothing pre or post christmas so either managing him to his life or seriously struggling.

Bauer??

Shorty is doing half half.

Ross, toe is fine now but calf a bit tight?

Oh yes, forgot about the Coulthard injury and also Tylar Young put a pic up on instagram post season of him in hospital after shoulder surgery and as you’ve said he’s still not in full training. Pretty sloppy stuff from the club really. It’s like they’ve only touched on best 18, then everyone else doesn’t matter 🤷‍♀️

Thomson Dow relegated to the wing in match sim today in favour of Mcauliffe to mid who starred whereas Dow didn't really feature
The reports I've heard from a few are very encouraging about this lad.

Could he and Sonz and possibly Coult be the injection of skill around the footy the club is screaming out for.

There's certainly some youth that will be attracting a lot of attention this pre season.

Sonz, McAuliffe, Coulthard, Clarke, Seth, Smith, Brown, Sammy Banks and Trezise.

Very, very early days but this kid could prove to be an absolute steal

Mate of mine spending the evening at the tennis with Adam Yze tonight- Tigers had a hard slog today apparently
- Dusty nursing an ankle
- Lynch round 3
- Gibcus going well and had a hit out today
- Sonsie smashing it but….*smile* is out for a bit
- Balta to go forward

Yeah worth a punt. Imagine him hunting bodies in the forward line, defensively we need that. And would be a match up nightmare.

Point of difference. And I'd throw him in early. More VFL footy won't help him.
I’m warming to him, the fact he’s quick and. mobile gives him every chance of doing ok

I imagine the players or clubs who refuse to talk to the press, will be fined. Get ready for another *smile* fight. Poor Dusty, the more he doesn’t want to be interviewed, the more they will hassle him.
yep , he’s the poster boy for giving the media donuts , so was buddy but he’s sailed off now

Sonz only misses 1-2
