2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

Balta in today's presser says Ooze swears more than Dimma. Does this show his seriousness in getting into the players?

Adem can now see the enormity of his task trying to build a cohesive unit who want to play for the guernsey and each other. That won't happen overnight

Absolutely ludicrous not playing Shai in the middle for at least 70% of the time. Yes, he kicked some goals today, but he had 8 disposals!! The guy is our best midfielder. Play him in the bloody middle

Hope he has the minerals to make the tough calls on vets. (Grimes).
Yep today isn’t the worst thing to happen in regards to Yze and our future. Think we will be seeing a lot from the likes of Sonsie, Clarke, Green, McAuliffe.. probably even Trezise and Brown before too long.

Bring it on the side is stale, and yesterdays champs aren’t getting any younger or better.

We need to be seeing these kids ASAP or it’ll be another waste of a year like 2023. A loss like today can be stomached if we’re playing a youthful side, but we once again went around with the same old brigade of last year. Grimes hardly had a pre season for gods sake yet he’s an automatic selection round 0. Keep playing the likes of him, McIntosh and Pickett and we’ll never get any better. They will not be in our next premiership side. Prestia as well is on the precipice for mine, showed some appalling efforts without the ball today. Witches hat when he doesn’t have it!!

I just had a look at how the Giants went with a change of coach and they were 4/8 up to the bye so I hope we get our *smile* together quicker but I would be happy with their trajectory

Balta is a full back. We desperately need him on backline for this game. That is unless Yze is as stubborn as Dimma. If so does not bode well for 2024.....

One positive of getting a new coach has to be that he owes the old players nothing and they should be forced to earn games in merit

Prestia and grimes I am talking about you

I am wondering how much free will he has to select the team.

Same with Mini when he was caretaker. I reckon Livingston holds too much power which is limiting to the coach.

Livingston definitely had "control" over Mini. We had a briefing last year and Mini deferred to him during the whole session. It was interesting to watch the interactions, body language and items that he deferred on.

I would hope (believe) that the dynamic is different with Adem but Tim will have input and a say on some key matters for sure.
