2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

McAuliffe only played a half in the VFL so could he debut this week? Yze has spoken about managing players with the 5 day break & that the players know what that looks like. We'll find out this week what that plan was. Mentioned re: Dusty/Nank/Lynch that tues session is important for them to get through so if any track watchers are free they can let us know what looks like happening. There were a few who were good in the VFL & spots are available in the snr's. It's being repeated that we'll be managing players so the kids will get a go at it, it's just up to them to bang that door down

5-7 years. That’s even if we get our drafting right.
Yep you have to feel we are going backwards before we go forwards.

No raft of young elite talent. Hopefully gibcus as an a grader then Balta/bolton with some fair age gap right there. Maybe Cumberland if he comes good.

Training Today, if you could call it that:

Because of 5 day break this week is about recovery so cannot tell you much. Lynch, Nank and Dusty would have been put through their paces on Saturday or Sunday so their dice would already be cast on how they pulled up.

Usual 9:30 am session it was not, bumped into Lambo and Taranto in Yarra Park who said it would be a light session and later. Anyway I hung around like a bad smell and it started at 11am but once the tennis racquets came out i knew it was going to be a Mickey Mouse session so I left once i determined who was out there.

Dusty, Lynch and Nank were.

Bauer was absent and Sonz was hanging out with Mansel, (of note: both these players did not play in the VFL practice match on the weekend).

There you go, I promised nothing and delivered nothing ;) :)

Cheers

If he has done his hammy again i'll spew. Each time Bauer comes back to main group and it has only been twice in the whole pre-season and then it has been for a maximum of 2 weeks before he is injured again. In the brief period he has been out there he has actually looked the most lively and likely playing in defence.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to watch and report Caesar, you’re a star Mate.
I reckon young McAulliffe is a chance to debut on Thursday night, as he was pulled out of the VFL game on Saturday at half time. Only other reason for doing that was perhaps injury??
Was he out there today and train with the main group? Only asking as I think he’s gonna be a very good player and we need to give him the experience of playing at senior level

Caeser, what's the go with Prestia, some say he is going to be rested. Was he training?
