I bet there is no pressure internally and that is all that counts and all that he would know. Unless he reads these footy forums of course.

It’s a shame we couldn’t bet in this. We could cash out half our Samson Ryan money to bank the win and still have him going for a fortune. Mansell doesn’t miss many. Taranto specialised in clutch goals in his U18 finals. Money everywhere.

Regardless of some weird results, I actually think it's been a great competition for all the players to focus on their set shot kicking which has been really poor in recent years (aside from some finals). Hopefully it translates on field this year.

Bauer is the clutch goal kicker at vfl level. His speciality in 2023

We had the worst goal kicking percentage in the league by a fair margin last year. From memory it was around 40%.

If we did nothing else but improve our conversion and kept everything else the same, we’d go close to making finals.
