2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

There best thing to come out of today is the blinding fact that Noah Balta should be penciled in at FB for the next decade.

Sadly, it seems like Dion might be joining Grimo on the due for retirement list sooner than we think.

Dion has been fantastic for us since coming over, but in terms of midfield balance, it wouldn’t be the worst thing if he missed some games and we got games into Dow, Sonsie, McAuliffe etc

Apparently can’t kick straight for goal….
One swallow does not a summer make but let’s hope he’s worked on his major weakness.
Those who actually watch VFL matches can all attest to the fact that he was atrocious last year in that area.

Neither does one season ….your first…as a 19 year old. And out of position.

Looks like we’re both in agreement.
He’s not a forward which was my original point
We’re not in agreement where his goal kicking is concerned. You think he’s a *smile* kick for goal. I prefer to wait and see a bit more - like today - before making such an early call.

Maybe he is. Maybe he isn’t. Let’s let it ferment.

Will need a change of fortune from the maggots.
Best umpiring I’ve seen in years.

In all seriousness though, I can’t recall too many shockers today. Between that and what you see in under 18 football, proof again that it’s when you give them a big stage, and/or it’s Richmond against somebody, things turn to *smile*.

Hard to shaft us today without benefiting us, so “let’s just do our job” must have been the mindset.

Red who was playing on the wings?

Steely Green Beer sounds good.

Glad you asked. Yze had Banks (or Banger as they call him) playing on Kaps. So Banks was moved up a bit. Yze was watching closely. On the other side, Pickett and Ross got a fair run at it.

Pickett is ok, but none of these guys are exactly quick. And to that end, to my untrained eye, we still look slow around the ground - especially through the middle and spread at stoppages.
