2024 Richmond Coach

Port want Carr 100%. The only problem they have is Hinkley has done so well this year making it extremely difficult for them.

If Hinkleys still unsigned by finals, then he's gone imo

This is going to be a pivitol sliding doors moment coming up for Ricmond.

Carr or Mini, not sure on either, but the rumours going around about how desperate Port are to keep him makes me think he could be a gun coach

That's also what the Pies thought of Figgy.

......

Not sure what Paddy Steinfort adds? What's he been up to?
Loads.

Quote from news paper

"Steinford didn’t play an AFL game in his five seasons at the Tigers due to injury and after time at Adelaide football club as their high performance manager moved to America as a consultant.

He has worked with Boston, the Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Eagles and wrote the book Breakfast With Bails about his experiences with former Melbourne senior coach Dean Bailey during their time at Adelaide."

Not a bad resume

Paddy is a physiotherapist and a psychologist. Most of his HP work has been in the psychology area.

That'll do! Another good choice

No Balmey

Like the concept of the Storm footy boss being on the panel.

Don’t know how much experience picking coaches the Storm bloke has. Bellamy’s been there for about 30 years!

MMM, not many titles in that lot! (have Storm won recently?)

He actually sounds like someone else we should have back on board, when Dan Jackson, Conca, Griggs, Dunc Kellaway etc all return.

Leppitsch (and likely others pulling out) is why our senior players shouldn't be endorsing Mini in the public.

If candidates believe he is close to across the line, or that it will be difficult for the club to go against the players wishes, they won't put their hand up and go through the stigma of missing out.

The club have done the right thing by getting an A grade panel and going through a thorough process.

Mini is an awesome guy. His interviews are first class. His match day coaching is flexible.
Is he too nice?
Most Premiership coaches have a mean ruthless streak.

It’s a good question but being an *smile* to reporters doesn’t help you out much.

He looks like he has a hard edge to me.

But behind closed doors and 1:1.
