Geez are we trying to be too clever by half. We’ve put together a panel of footy people and people from outside the industry, one of the candidates has been there longer than most of the playing list and now we’ve got to bring in Cotch and Buckley to give their thoughts.

Seriously, how much window dressing do you need before making a decision? It smacks of overkill or incompetence.

If the panel are so undecided that they had to bring in 2 more then you picked the wrong people to be on the panel.

Seems like the panel is either split right down the middle or some members just can’t decide and Chimp and Buckley have been brought in to help get a majority or aid with the decisions of some.

The club was about as open/honest as possible when they announced selection panel and the time they hoped to have coach appointed by. By all metrics they are on target. What’s annoying most is the fact the club hasn’t leaked as most other clubs do.

There is a lot of angst about how long it is taking to appoint a coach.
Imagine how much angst there will be if we appoint the wrong coach !!!
FFS can we just let the club do their job !!!

Can't help but feel there's going to be some melts if Mini gets it.

Hate to be a broken record but I can't really care less. Only time will tell how successful the winning candidate is.
Hopefully the club pull the right reign.

What makes it even sweeter is the fact he left the bears to go to Colonwood for on field success and happened to miss out on 3 flags in a row (2 of those against the Colliwobbles).

Buckley is an odd choice for a consultant. Boring coach and as a commentator prone to quote pointless stats. Was way out of line on the Simpson criticism too.

History would tell us we are at a minimum 5 years + from our next premiership. Whoever our next coach is he’s probably not our next premiership coach.
