Noticed both Buckley and Chimp carrying bottles of plonk.
anyone got assumptions on why.

I don't give a *smile* what the next coach wears as long as they can get us back to being a premiership juggernaut. I'm hungry again.

I don't mind Buckley being called in to consult. He's always been honestly impressed by RFCs reinvention
and the way we went about influencing modern football. And it shows he's one of the very few from the media
that RFC trust.

I may be in the minority, but I really enjoy Bucks in the media. Also wouldn't be disappointed if he joined the club in some capacity.

Cotch shouldn't be on that panel he expressed who he wanted last week.
These were Cotchin's words:
"From an attributes point of view, he's got everything that's required to be a brilliant senior coach. His ideas and plans, if he was to be the successful candidate, are really exciting for the club. But I'm sure the club are doing everything they can to select the right person for the role to take (them) forward."

That's not expressing who he wants -- he's simply expressing a positive viewpoint on Mini's ability to be the senior coach.

Worries me cotch is on the final meeting
He will be pushing hard for mini

Conflict.

I have a different view.... we are talking about a bloke who was a, or even the key driver of cultural change at the club.
He's not some untrustworthy *smile* kicker off the street!
Sure, he's expressed his opinion of McQualter, but I have not one bit of doubt in my mind, if he thinks Yze would be better.... he'd say so!
I reckon he was brought in to see if Yze can fit OUR club and how we operate now.
Personally, I'd prefer to stick with McQualter now. I'm just not a huge fan of Goodwin and although Yze has had other mentors.... I reckon Melbourne's culture is *smile* in comparison to ours!

Yes there seems to be some think tank here that change is guaranteed to be better. Sometimes it's better the devil you know!
Agreed, the last bloke he endorsed was Ben Vibrancy Lennon and we all know how that turned out!
That was Lids.
