2024 Draft Thread

Not to bad if we are talking about Allan ,but he is also strong in the air ,and at the contest,,,it looks like we are going for hard types

Yeah l think Bartel,he looks like he can play anywhere and be really good at any position.
The little bit I saw he looks a beast , perfect part of a finals midfield

Twomey still going with Smillie at 7 for us with Allan getting through to our next pick , still also going with Shanahan to us

I don't love the Shanahan link. He is a decent hit up forward and a nice kick for goal but I don't think his competivness and workrate is as good as J Whitlock and Faull. I wouldn't be taking him at 10 or 11.

Whats that mean?
Doesn't Stkilda have pick 7??
And why do we need pick 8??
Blair won't lose any picks
I’ve seen this mentioned elsewhere so I think what he’s saying is:

Saints want three picks tomorrow night - so they’ll swap their 8 for our 11 & 23 (with their 32 probably coming back to us). But only if there is a surprise slider that we don’t think will last to 10.

I don’t think this guy has much intel as he puts out quite a lot of this kind of stuff, ultimately hoping that infinite monkeys with infinite draft boards will eventually hit on the correct pick swaps.

100%.
Jagga gives our midfield a point of difference.
As it stands-Taranto/Hopper/Meatball(aging)/McCauliffe.
And if add Lalor & Smillie it all looks one dimensional.
He's been the most consistent performer this year and no injury history.
How are Lalor with his ability to break away and a 6'5" mid not points of difference? McAuliffe isn't slow either.

At least our kicking skills will be better. Taranto, Dow, Baker, even at times Pickett...not one of them would be considered good users by foot.

Although, I'd imagine Lalor is gonna spend a fair bit of time up forward until his tank builds.

Then as Lalor reaches out to take the jumper from Dusty, the great man pulls out the big don't argue and says "I'm still the king b*tch..."
