Fantastic effort by the Matildas after average first game and poor second game. Showed real quality tonight. Goalie redeemed herself; was excellent tonight. Mary Fowler is all class; smooth mover.

Yep, only needed to scratch out a draw to advance. Really were in the box seat. Perhaps that knowledge put them in the wrong mindset, to play a negative style of game.
