2023 mid-season rookie draft

One would think, after reading his bio, that Buller would be the ideal type to pluck as a mid season rookie. Free hit at a talented junior KPP who's done the necessary developing and growing up in a state league comp that quite a few young players need. Yeah, Nah we'll take the midget then a half back flanker just in case.

Let me know which one is our key forward replacement for Jack seeing your so comfortable with our current options.
No u said key forwards and u want several lists spots on more garbage,we have enough, need quality, our guys know whst they are doing better than no information no ins and out posters

I’d rather take a risk and end up with a rubbish key forward over ending up with a rubbish HBF because it’s worth the potential reward.
And by the way, our recruiters are not always right. Even with all the information they have at hand. History clearly shows you that

20 minutes into the third quarter and Hunter is the other key forward we could have picked up last week. WTF is wrong with our recruiters, we seriously needed a decent key forward today. Pisses me off big time that we keep overlooking a serious hole in our listIMG_1388.png

Must be an echo in here as i just said that bud

Jack will be 35 and Tom 31 in a few months.
Himmelberg, if he comes to us will only be a 2nd tall, we need to hope like hell that Tom's (who has had a history of leg injuries) body can hold up up for the next few years.
I was gobsmacked that we didn't select Buller or Hunter in the midseason draft. Can only think that Gibcus is going to be tried as a forward.

Cool, good strategy having all your eggs in one basket.
As talls in the VFL we have Bradtke, Biggie, Miller and Bauer, while we have Lynch, Tarrant, Soldo, Gibcus (and Collina) out, and Jack, Ryan, Nank, Young, Balta, Grimes and Broad in the AFL.
The number of talls we have on our list isnt a problem. Quality could be.

very good point. Only need two of the above four to really come on

Early days I know but Bradtke looks mikes off it. Really poor body positioning in marking contests and gets pushed off so easily by smaller opponents. Reminds me of Chol one on one. Only good when leading for the ball but shows harder hands than Chol too and without the leap.

News on the KPF front only gets worse I'm afraid: Swans' mid-season rookie set for AFL debut after huge VFL start - https://www.afl.com.au/news/950458
Buller set for AFL debut after one game in the vfl and a contract extension
our recruiters ask but can he play HB  :bash
From 7 sport -But Buller may just be one of those exceptions and it’s not surprising he’s at Sydney given that club has an astonishing habit of finding diamonds in the rough.
And we passed on him …….WTF!
