2023 mid-season rookie draft

I like Will Elliott too, reckon he'd be a really good addition to our tall group.

I'd be surprised if we took El Nour or Tresize unless we really thought we'd be losing any of Broad, Vlastuin etc at the end of the year. With Tom Brown waiting in the wings, and with Bauer being played down back, its not really a need for us, so a tall forward or a quick small sounds like the go for us.

Trezise has played predominantly half forward his whole career, only really moved back the past week or so for our VFL team and was forward/mid playing in the country for Tooradin-Dalmore.

He's an interesting type. Totally untapped (never been in any pathway) athletic freak - Has pinched hit in the ruck at 188cm.

Big player in his teams flag and made the West Gippsland League team last year.

On a pretty steep upward curve ATM and someone obviously interested for him to do a medical.

Is a left footer, that we need more of.

On that shame that Garrett McDonough got injured on the weekend. No doubt we've been playing him up the ground (with success) to have a look at him up there. Now that guy has a great left peg.

I'd be focussing on the WA boys listed in Twomey's tweet. We have a history here.

Buller as a 199cm forward looks like a chance to me.
Hansen Jr in a speed machine who Freo are interested in, as well as a number of other clubs.
Hunter is a very athletic player who might be able to fill a variety of roles.
I reckon the Eagles will pick Buller.

Milan Murdock is a goer, disposal a bit questionable.

Trezise was also at the Tiges AFL training yesterday as a "top up" to enable match play/match sim. But a good excuse for the coaches to watch him play in "our" structure.

Agree on McDonough. Even though a little older has really played for the team structure and does have exquisite skills.

Beanie killing it. Has 3.1 of SA's 4.4, and gave an exquisite assist for what should have been a goal.

Tresize back in forward line now that Young is back, named at full forward.

Buller looks inferior to Bradtke to me. Tresize has been impressive and I like his upside but Dudoro will probably pinch him.

Archie May not selected in our VFL team on the weekend.
Obviously hiding him from Dodo.
