Interesting to see in the latest ESPN draft rankings (no longer done by that self-promoting dope Doerre) that a couple who have fans here are rated higher than elsewhere: namely Bengal and my boy George Stevens at 14 and Snake and Ezy's lads Schoey at 15 and Caiden Cleary at 21. No Charlie Edwards, Freijah, Simpson, Morris, Lloyd or Moir in the top 30 has me thinking this draft might have more depth than is credited, and getting another pick around 30 would be a good idea.
Stevens is a ready made player, you can see him being a long term AFL player,he may not be the quickest ,but he can run all day and his skills are good.
It all comes down to who's available,l have about 8 player's who l wouldn't mind ,and who could realistically be available at our pick.

Reid didn't test due to a knee issue. Zero gain for him. McKercher did test. Zero gain for him also. For me therein lies the reason why I would take McK over Reid. Both will be stars, both deserve to be a top 2 or 3 pick, but Macca has the better leadership qualities IMO, both in attitude as indicated here, and deeds on the field. Sure they both had good champs, but McKercher stepped up when the game was there to be won and won it. Reid did at times as well, but McKercher did it more often and more emphatically.

Do we have access to the full results?

Crazy time. Unheard of for a ruck. Gobsmacked.
I just went back to check Kreuzer's times - 14.2 beep & 10.51 3km, that's good but Read looks next level running capacity.

Was also curious to see how Gourdis tested - 2.83sec/20m, that's just another reminder to tread with caution when looking at these sprint times.

Hoping we use our 4th rounder pick 65 on Koschitzke. There seems to be a bit of talent on offer and reckon we can nab two good players with our 2nd and 3rd rounders. Out of these 4, my personal preference would be DeMattina and Moir. Also heard we are into Schoenmaker. Any 1 or 2 from this lot id be very happy with.
Perhaps a stretch on two of them ;) considering our next pick (3rd rounder) is 47, but as we know there's always a slider...

Harry would definitely be a welcome addition to our side adding more dash if he was still available at our pick.

DeMattia's speed, ball-getting ability and versatility was on show in round 17 against Tasmania, when the Dandenong prospect gathered 30 disposals, eight inside 50s, eight clearances and a goal in perhaps the best game of his season. The Vic Country captain showed his turn of pace and he was happy to use it, busting out of the centre several times (he notched a game-high four centre clearances that day). Through the season DeMattia has also played as a forward and occasionally across half-back.

An eye-catching talent who can do some very exciting things on the field. Collard had a quiet carnival for Western Australia but has produced some genuine highlights for Subiaco's under-18 team across this season, including back-to-back five-goal hauls in the past two weeks of finals action. He kicked 32 goals this season in 11 games at the level and can jump for his marks, gather at ground level and use his terrific foot skills to slot shots from any angle. His high-end talent brings him into discussions at this point of the draft, with West Coast having access to him as a Next Generation Academy player after pick 40.

Has a lot of class, and loves a goal but doesn't get a lot of the ball. If he's still there late perhaps, if not, I wouldn't be using our 26 on him if he was still available.

Moir kicked 30 goals from 10 games at under-18 level last season with Glenelg but hasn't hit the same form this year across his different competitions. The athletic forward has real spring in his game and can jump up to take a grab while also kicking the ball skilfully on both feet.

Moir has a bit of that Jamara look about him, outstretched arms when marking, and that silky left foot.

194 cms, has a nice raking left foot and does find a bit of the ball but isn't overly quick.

Wow.

This is the lad you reckon we can and should get, @eZyT ?

Yeah Will Graham. Gettable and good. Wouldnt surprise me at all if he turns out better than jake rogers.

Nice kid, competitor, obviously quick, tackles, explosive, goal kicking inside/outside mid.

Plays like? Cotchy.

Missed alot of footy 16/17 with meniscus troubles

GC cant take em all

Oh you mean 2.92 20m will graham and 35km/hr jed walter?

Sure, ill shut up about the rugby boys.

How good is Archie Roberts?

Are all combine results available or just top 10? I think state results aren't out yet.

It just occurred to me, not only do the Suns look like having 4 top 30 players, and 3 of those a good chance of top 10, from 1 academy in 1 year, unheard of. But 3 of those, Walter, Read and Graham, are from the same club! The best fwd, best ruck and one of the best mids in the country, in the same Palm Beach-Currumbin team! Unprecedented, the odds against that would be insane.
