2023 Draft Thread.

Why have we been given Shepparton??
I thought we had the area around Mildura.
We need to start one at Punt Rd.
Put 15 kids in boarding at Punt Rd for 2 years.
That's how you start an academy.

Ultra competitive ruck with a very strong ground ball game, big upside with his athletic specs and rapidly improving intercept game. Perfect selection and could feasibly be the best ruck of the crop.

I get the feeling we’ll go a bit abstract again and select someone like Lual. Back half possession getter, rebounder, hbf-wing type. Seems to be the Clarke way often.

He has rucked and played forward in school footy. He is not timid. Kicks it well, links up. Not that far off Balta in terms of an athlete. Reckon he could play second forward and second ruck in a few years.

Yep. It’s Simpson and him for mine. Murphy is an outstanding contested mark. They’re hard to find.

of those, preference in order, Simpson, Murphy, (always had him pencilled-in for top 20 so haven't thought about him much) Shoenmaker, Lual, Morris. One of them will be there, I'm OK with that.

I hope someone takes Roberts before us.

I reckon Clarke might have been working the phones trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear the get Collard tonight but no dice.
