2022 - March to the finals

Michael Scott No GIF
We are crab walking into the last few games of the season.
please don’t let us finish 9th

Win 3 of last 5 and we make 8th on percentage

True but given we couldn’t hold out against the Suns or lolnorf, I am not confident we can win any of our last 5.

The hit the squad would have taken from losing those last 2 games will be enormous - mentally the team is shot.

Sorry but I see 2021 all over again - the only difference was we hit a higher peak in form during the middle part of this season.

Yeah, maybe 2 wins more…maybe, if lucky. But I reckon we,ll look back and see that the Geelong game ( or to be more precise Stewart’s KO of Dion) killed us. I reckon we,ll look back and see we went on to win something like 2 out of our last 8 games and that’ll be v WCE and Hawthorn or Essendon.

This thread might need to be changed to 'march out of the finals'

You seriously can't watch us lose to North and expect to beat the remaining teams ahead of us to make finals. We'd be relying on other teams to capitulate more than we capitulate. I'm not sure that's possible, because we find new ways to raise the capitulation each week.

Tigers march to the Finals has been *Hamstrung* by soft tissue injuries' and stupidity, with the Tigers charging run virtually coming to a sudden undignified yet spectacular ending like a gymnast missing their landing on the high bar.

Let’s get our players back versus brisbane on the MCG.

We have another week where the four teams directly below us could all lose and st k only (albeit strong) favourites.

This is a ladder predictor just choosing favourites and higher on the ladder.

And we win out.

If we turn things around slightly we are still right on the finals race.

Theoretically, we can still drop one or maybe even two games.

Yeah..........nah, the GC and North games killed us. The Geewiz game showed we still had fight and grit!
