2020 finals–week one: the other games

Ratugolea reminds me a bit of the way Chol is for us. Sometimes he looks really good and then he just disappears from the game. He should be a better player than he is.
Different player to Chol but the same sort of almost enigmatic type.

Agreed but often indicating players who just really need the extra confidence that comes with further games and big game experience. Be fascinating to see what we get from Chol tonight. Hoping at his home, I'd expect with family looking on, and after our coaches have been getting into him all the lead-up showing the highlights of his best footy, Emma Murray sessions, lots of positive affirmation. Emphasizing how good he can play, his vital importance to the team, that he steps right up.

He has to play like the giant he is and impose himself. Both these guys have the physical attributes to be great - just needs the mental connect.

He needs to play a little angry but it seems like he hasn't got an angry bone in his body. Maybe Lynch could give him one of his angry pills

How many times has Hawkins been sighted for belting someone in the head? Compare the media coverage he's gotten to the attempted character assassination of Lynch a few weeks ago.

Tom Hawkins 0-5 went a loong way to costing his team the final you could say.
Hope this puts to bed the dumb argument that if was in for the 2019 QF the cats would have beaten us.
after that performance the answer would be no.

It's probably outdated to think this but, they should have played the rat. He would have at least potentially stretched the Power's midget backline & taken some of the heat off Major Tom.

I think we need the Dogs to win tomorrow. The Saints with Marshall and Ryder in the ruck could cause us some major issues.

Where for art thou Soldo? :(

Should be a good game today - really not sure who to barrack for. MIght have to see where the heart lands during the game.

Reckon the saints will trouble us more than the dogs. More dangerous ball movement, forwards and ruck.

Go Doggy doggs.

And....All bar one of Hawkins missed shots were from very wide.
This is what our defence does to Lions. No coincidence.
Port have copied our game plan to the letter. Interesting times.
Funny it has taken 3 years for a team to do it. No one rated the style. Thats why Port look like a team of ordinary players. .as others thought we were.

This is interesting. Does hardwick have anything up his sleeve to evolve our game to keep us infront of the copycats? Clarko did
