Standard procedure for most kids these days.
If they had half a choice, most kids would probably prefer to stay home with the family n play for a club in their home state. Kids slated as a first round option or even more likely top ten can get away with stating openly they'd prefer to stay home, they'll still get picked up somewhere. Kid who might be a fifty plus pick or rookie option just better STFU n hope someone somewhere gives them a chance.
Its called contrived draft and competition.
Makes our wins all the more sweeter as we get nothing compared to these other campaigners.
