Whether I am the only one here, who knows.

I haven't sat down and watched the GF again.

I've watched bits and pieces of the Cats final, the replay of the GWS and the closest I've got to watching the GF , is the Grand Recollections on the RFC Website.

I still can't believed we won the 2017 GF.

I never thought I would see another GF win in my lifetime again.

Waiting to get hold of a three final pack on DVD. Haven't looked yet. Are they available?

Watched it so many times , but not too often in it entirety, twice I think,

Have it on the iq box , make a cuppa and chuck it on every now and then if I have a spare half hour , then hit the pause and watch a bit more some time later,

Reckon I have watched that 3rd quarter 20 times :)

Interestingly the jbhi website lists that the contents of the second disc contains:

“Victory Pack Second Disc Contains
- Elimination Final
- Semi Final
- Preliminary Final
- AFL Premiers 2017 Season Highlights“

I wonder what the semi-final game is?? Was there a game I wasnt aware of? :) very well QAed

Just read that Jeff Kennet said our grand final win was “terribly uninteresting “ and “not a good game to watch”.

Yep, the 2014 & 2015 GFs were far more interesting games......

And the euphoria in melbourne when Hawthorn won was off the charts.....

:hihi :clap

That 2013 GF was the worst ever GF I had seen in years (Haw vs Freo).
The more we win, the more the haters come out. Good. lets win some more LOL. Let us help them vent.
Its therapeutic for us & them :)

Childish comment from Jeffrey. I never bought into this 'I love it when they hate us' stuff. Opposition supporters aside, I'd rather see more respect from other clubs, media etc...

agree and because of a number of negative responses/lack of respect, worst Ive seen for any club after winning a GF, I hope RFC win more to squash that BS. Reason I wrote prev comment in tongue & cheek as they say

Were any of Hawthorns last 4 flags “interesting” or “good games to watch”?

A lot of GF's are 'uninteresting' unless your team is playing and/or winning. Jeff may have to get used to having September off in a footballing sense for the near future. Poor bloke is unfamiliar with that feeling. Love for Titus O'Reily to comment on Jeffy's quote.

Kennett must've missed the 90's when he was busy enslaving us to the power companies. Not one decent GF among the lot. Sorry for being far too good, Jeffery.

Silliest thing he ever did, putting his hand up again at Hawthorn. It's going to end in tears.

I went to a barbecue yesterday and met a whole lot of people I haven't seen since the grannie.

"Everything went right", "no injuries" "played all finals on your home ground"....

Blah blah blah

There are a lot of people who want to downgrade this flag.

We need another flag to be truly hated again though, can't wait

I can see it already through 2018. The media trying their best to find as many faults as they can about us through the season. "Is this loss the end.....", "was 2017 a lucky year for the Tigers", "Dimma and Dusty don't get on...", "in house fighting at Richmond".......wouldn't be surprised from these pricks. Negative connotations already building against us. Do we have to really look as slutty as Essendonia does to gain true respect?

A lot of things did go right. I just nod my head to all of it and add that we were the best team when it counted, by a fair margin. There's no award for one flag being better than another.

thats all true, but we are still the reigning premiers.

I think all the negative comments from non Richmond supporters are probably because the dynamics have now changed. These are from probably the same people who haven't hesitated in the past to put us down at every opportunity and now they can't. They don't know how to react and go into their fallback position of being negative to us.
I've experienced it personally but have experienced more positive comments from a lot who were genuinely happy we did it.
To those that just made comments to put the win down I had two responses to them. I have waited 37 years to be able to say this. WE ARE THE PREMIERS!!!
And: " When was the last time your team won a flag?" ( really, that long ago? ) ;D

The driver who delivered mulch to our house yesterday was a Hawks supporter and he was very complementary to the Tigers (he could see all our premiership posters in the window). Reckon we smashed it at the right time of year and we were a clear step ahead of the other top 4. He reckoned you can't fluke a top 4 finish but you can fluke or fall into the bottom of the 8. He loved Hardwick and was very pleased for him.

I just hope all the other teams think we fluked it - like Geelongs Scott - the more they are underestimate us the better I reckon for us in 2018.
